Hurray! Summer is here.
My favourite time of the year, the sun shining is enough to make me go giddy with happiness. Why wont I be? The burden of layers of winter clothing being lifted off my shoulders is a joyous occasion for me. But the multitude of skin issues hidden in winter will now come to the fore. So we need to get clear those and step into summer with flawless skin.
So here is something effective and easy to make. You don’t need loads of ingredients, it doesn't cost a lot, and it takes little time to make. So what are we waiting for?
So here is something effective and easy to make. You don’t need loads of ingredients, it doesn't cost a lot, and it takes little time to make. So what are we waiting for?
Here are the ingredients you’ll need
- Camwood Powder-The internet is full of recipes for making sugar scrub or body scrub with ingredients similar to those listed below but none with Camwood Powder. This Powder is relatively unknown but the potency is a force to reckon with. Read my post on Camwood Powder here.
- Sugar- You can use brown or white. This is to exfoliate and get rid of those dead skin, making room for new ones to come to the surface. Make sure it is the really tiny grain ones though; we won’t want you tearing your facial skin.
- Sweet Almond Oils- A light non greasy option compare to some other oils, this will penetrate into your skin quickly and it is not as expensive as its counterparts.
- Lemon Zest (Optional)- This will help removes impurities found in skin cells.
- Lavender Essential Oil- This is necessary because it is an effective treatment for dry and chapped skin. And it smells gorgeous.
- Raw Honey- This is a natural moisturizer, need I say more. That Honey is good for the skin is an issue that has been over thrashed. Make sure you use raw honey.
- An Empty Jar- You need this to store your body scrub when done.
STEP BY STEP GUIDE
